• Sign in with Apple identifier (a unique, non-reversible string)
• Email address if you choose to share it (may be an Apple relay)

• Deeds, logs, categories, points, goals, settings (e.g., day cutoff hour, haptics, sounds, theme)

3) Diagnostics (optional)

• Crash/performance data from Apple if you’ve opted in to share analytics on your device

• App functionality & sync: keep your data tied to your account and available across your devices
• Support & reliability: diagnose crashes and improve performance (if analytics are enabled)

• On your device (local storage)
• In your iCloud account (CloudKit): private database scoped to your Apple ID, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
