Captures don't show up in Photos. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → LowResCamera and make sure access is enabled. Files are also kept locally in the App's History view for retry.
Camera preview is black on simulator. The iOS Simulator has no physical camera. Try the App on a real iPhone or iPad.
How do I change the resolution? Tap one of the preset chips (Compact / Standard / HD) above the shutter, or open the Advanced sheet to fine-tune format, frame rate, and bitrate.
Where are my files stored? Either in your Photos library (if "Save automatically" is on) or inside the App's local History (if "Keep local only" is on).
